Summit Opening for Educating and Mobilizing Black Communities on Prostate Cancer Issues with Mr. Thomas Farrington

At the 2016 African American Prostate Cancer Disparity Summit, PHEN’s Founder Mr. Thomas Farrington welcomed the audience in attendance. He outlined the prior day’s sessions including the early detection screening discussion and the session on increasing African American participation in clinical trials. Then, Mr. Farrington introduced the current session for the day, which included mobilizing and educating the African American community around prostate cancer awareness and the racial disparity.
