Keith Crawford, MD, PhD, Director of Clinical Trials and Patient Education at PHEN
Dr. Keith Crawford discussed a 65% increase in prostate cancer between 2019 and 2023, which was the largest rise for any major cancer. He also outlined how non-Hispanic Black men have a much larger risk of localized, regional, and distant/metastatic prostate cancers. Lastly, Dr. Crawford emphasized that local, early diagnosis stages have nearly 100% 5-year and 10-year survival rates as compared to distant/metastatic prostate cancer stages.
