PHEN Marketing Director Tomeeka Miller introduced the Boston Prostate Cancer Community Rally to the audience on March 29, 2025, emphasizing that this community rally program has reached over 20 million people since its inception in 2021. She also described the importance of early detection screening for saving lives.
“When our community comes together [and] when we support one other, we are living proof that we do save lives,” Rev. Dr. Willie Bodrick, II, Senior Pastor at the Twelfth Baptist Church, said at the Boston Rally. He also provided an opening prayer for this program.
PHEN Founder and President Thomas A. Farrington provided opening remarks, stating that this event provides free prostate cancer screening for all men in attendance. He also explained that the Twelfth Baptist Church in Boston was one of the first churches to partner with PHEN to spread prostate cancer awareness.
