Congressman Gregory Meeks began by stating his honor and privilege to join the audience for PHEN’s 21st Annual African American Prostate Cancer Disparity Summit and recounting his gratitude for his dear friend and PHEN leader, Thomas Farrington, the president and founder of PHEN.

Meeks emphasized that we must encourage our loved ones to get screened, ask questions, and never give up on fighting for the care that we all deserve.
