Community leaders and healthcare partners respond to PHEN’s Next Decade of Action and discuss how they can help support its inaugural North Carolina and Boston initiatives.
The panel examines the opportunities and challenges involved in delivering prostate cancer education, free PSA screening and follow-up care directly to communities. Panelists highlight the roles of cancer centers, HBCUs, faith communities, laboratories, fraternities, survivors and the arts in building trust and reaching more Black men and their families.
The conversation also explores how PHEN’s year-round community mobilization model can be sustained, expanded and replicated in other cities and states.
