Early detection screening is vital in the fight against prostate cancer, explains Rev. Dr. Abdue L. Knox

Rev. Dr. Abdue L. Knox, the Senior Pastor at Greater Bethel AME Church, took part in PHEN’s Charlotte Prostate Cancer Disparity Rally, urging Black men to seek out early detection screening due to the significant disparities in prostate cancer outcomes between White and Black men.

“Knowledge about early detection screening is key to beating prostate cancer,” said Rev. Dr. Knox. “I speak from experience. My uncle’s life was saved because of early detection.”
