Men Over 40 Need to Get Prostate Cancer Screenings, Says Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett

For PHEN’s Dallas Prostate Cancer Community Rally, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who represents Texas’ 30th District, outlined that Black men are twice as likely to die from prostate cancer as compared to White men. She emphasized the importance of early detection screening, explaining how it helped save her father’s life.

“If you or someone you love is a man over 40, now is the time to get screened for prostate cancer,” stated Congresswoman Crockett. “Early detection saves lives. Getting diagnosed early saved my dad’s life and it can save yours, too.”
