October Managing Survivorship Meeting

At a Managing Survivorship Meeting in October 2023, PHEN Survivor Network Member Mr. Charles “Chuck” Christian shared his prostate cancer journey since his late-stage diagnosis in 2016. The meeting also included a heartfelt video of a conversation between Mr. Christian and his son. The discussion focused on the treatments and clinical trial developments available for prostate cancer patients like Mr. Christian. PHEN Director of Clinical Trials and Patient Education Dr. Keith Crawford outlined treatment pathways for advanced-stage diseases like metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

In addition, PHEN President Mr. Thomas Farrington introduced Dr. James Smith who will work to educate PHEN Survivor Network members on early detection screening and treatment options using online portals, including PHENPSA.com, PHENPath.com, and PHENTrials.com.
