Community leaders, faith partners, patient navigators and healthcare professionals discuss how trusted partnerships can improve prostate cancer awareness, screening and access to care for Black men.
Panelists share lessons from community programs conducted through churches, cancer centers and other trusted institutions. The conversation explores how to create safe spaces for men, strengthen patient navigation, engage caregivers, connect screening with follow-up care and expand successful outreach programs into additional communities.
During the audience Q&A, the panel addresses the most pressing challenges facing the PHEN Partnership Growth Model and discusses the importance of funding, collaboration, sustained community presence and listening to the people being served.
