Social Determinants of Health, Financial Toxicity, Policy Initiatives and The Racial Disparity

This session will provide an understanding about social determinants of health. It will identify and explore factors that impact on the prostate cancer racial disparity. Costs of treatment and care that can prove toxic in limiting patient access will be presented. Important policy initiatives that can help eliminate the racial disparity will be reviewed and discussed.
