Summit 2025 Session 4: Closing Remarks by Mr. Thomas A. Farrington

Mr. Thomas Farrington, Founder and President at PHEN, provided closing remarks for the fourth session of the 2025 African American Prostate Cancer Disparity Summit. He spoke about the topics of each session throughout the month of September, including:

  • Early detection screening recommendations
  • Church partnerships and grassroots efforts at PHEN for prostate cancer awareness
  • Clinical trial participation and advanced treatments for reducing the racial disparity behind prostate cancer
  • The impact of prostate cancer on young men

More than one million people were reached in 2024 through the PHEN Summit, and the goal is to reach over two million people in 2025, explained Mr. Farrington. He also unveiled a new, revamped PHEN website to the audience. Mr. Raymond Fuller came on to provide a prayer and sing the song I’m a Living Testimony to close out the informative and inspirational summit session.
