PHEN’s Connecticut Prostate Cancer Community Rally
December 13, 2025 @ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

About the Event
The Connecticut Community Rally is a major statewide initiative dedicated to raising awareness about prostate cancer and providing life-saving resources directly to the community. Hosted in partnership with local faith leaders, public health organizations, survivors, clinicians, and advocates, this event focuses on early detection, especially for Black men who face the highest risk and mortality rates from prostate cancer.
This FREE community event offers PSA blood testing, health education, treatment information, clinical trial access guidance, and supportive resources for men and families. No insurance is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
Why This Matters
Prostate cancer is a crisis—particularly for Black men, who are:
- Twice as likely to die from prostate cancer
- Diagnosed younger, often before age 50
- More likely to develop aggressive disease
Early detection starting at age 40 can save lives.
This event provides men with the opportunity to get screened, ask questions, and learn how to protect their health.
