At the 2018 African American Prostate Cancer Disparity Summit, Mr. Anthony Lee, a prostate cancer survivor, shared his story and introduced the moderator Dr. J. Jacques Carter. He explained how Dr. Carter has been a mentor who helped guide him with his prostate cancer diagnosis over the previous year. Mr. Lee is now six months post-surgery and has survived the disease. Dr. Carter serves as the attending physician at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and is the assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. In this video, Dr. Carter introduced the panelist speakers and went over prostate cancer screening guidelines.
